Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days – Achievement Guide

These unlock as you finish the various chapters. Extreme mode sucks mainly because most of the weapons spray WAY too much. We have a full video walkthrough to help you through Extreme.

Very easy on easy. You can take a lot of bullets. In fact just do it nice and slow with the first 5 guys you come across. Two after you break down the door. Then three more after chasing Brady across the roof.

Right after you kill the first 5 guys with headshots you’ll chase Brady into a store with a lot of computer monitors. There are 4 guys here to shoot and then 5 more around the corner. You can reload and you can go down.

You’ll get your first shotgun in chapter one as you are chasing the guy through the market. Remember to hit down on the D pad to show what weapons have been dropped and where they are. I suggest you do this on Easy as everyone takes more damage and can easily single shot you on Extreme. Then move up on enemies and make sure to blast them straight in the upper chest slash head area for a single shot kill. After the sixth the achievement will pop. There will be 5 in the open market, then DON’T use the explosive cans. Just jump the wall and blast the last guy for the achievement.

Re-loading checkpoints works. In the first chapter you’ll come to a section where you’ll cover up against a long small wall. The canisters will be right with you on the wall. Hit X to pick one up, aim and then hit X to throw it. Finally RT to auto shoot it. This will kill 2 guys right then and there. Now jump the wall and then come right back because 2 cars will pull up and quite a few more men will stream out. Throw the last 3 canisters, (don’t worry about Kane). If you don’t get 10 then reload checkpoint until you get it.

Then after doing all of that you will be near the end of the first chapter. If you died while standing out in the open lining up headshots or going for close range shotgun blasts then restart this short opener and don’t die this time. Easy of course to make it simple. Complete it and another achievement will unlock.

In Chapter 3 you will come to the first set-up shield. The hint will come up to hit B to grab a human shield. Plus there will be a checkpoint right before it. You can sit here and reload checkpoint all day until you get the achievements. If you are playing on Extreme good luck because your shield will go down in like 5 seconds. If you want to have a nice and easy time on it play on Easy. Start with Chinese Waltz, grab the guy and go to town.

Play on easy. There are all LOT of areas to get this. I am going to show you how I did it on Chapter 10 because the area is right at the start of the chapter and the weapons you need are there also. Take out the sniper and then take out the first cop getting this assault rifle. Then head the to the back right and get yourself downed. Then crawl around and take out the enemies. Don’t hit the stand up button until the achievement pops.

Play on Easy and it’s insanely easy. This is the start of Chapter 4. Just work your way through the restaurant and just don’t take too many hits. The achievement pops after you leave the kitchen and climb the back stairs. Be careful of the swat member on the other side of the door you have to kick in.

I had over 1000 by Chapter 8 while playing Extreme. Everything counts even if you die, quit, or reload.

I find Bridge to be the easiest level. Let the AI do all the killing so that you don’t get a Yellow Card. Watch it when you first enter the trains as 1 or 2 guards will be in there. You can go all 9 rounds without the AI turning on you. They don’t get greedy until 10+. At about 8 they will start to die on you fast so upgrade your weapons. As far as weapon choices I like the Buqiang 800 since it’s pretty accurate and a one shot kill and the Nianshi 40XR since the only hard part at all is getting in the train when there are guards left in there. If you’ve leveled up you can opt for some higher level guns but this is based on you doing this level 1. The achievements are for getting to the level so you only need to finish 9.

I like subway for these two. You have 2 options. Wait until round 8+ when the AI starts dropping to the police on their own and then kill the last one. Or you can wait until round 2 so that you can upgrade your weapons. Get yourself a Buqiang 800 and the best submachine gun you can buy. When you leave the loot area at least 5 of the guys are going to be lined up crouched by the subway tracks. Just mow them all down and then clean up. The Police won’t be good enough to do any damage to you.

You must finish the game. Do not quit. This will unlock at the end of the game, not the round you get the money in. You need 5 mil in Subway, Airport, Fish Market, Harbor and Financial. NOT any of the DLC maps. If you play with your team you will get 5 million at about round 5. If you are a good traitor you can get 5 million at the end of round 3 or even 2.

These are all accumulative so you just need to keep playing. I had $50 million and 25 escapes before I had 5 mil on each level. Just keep going.

If you want to do this in Arcade then it can be hard. To set it up wait until level 5 or so, so that the Police can actually do some damage. Then strafe yourself in front of your team’s AI and wait until you give a teammate a Yellow Card. Then run out and get shot down by the Police and quickly aim and kill the teammate that has the Yellow Card.

Super easy to do with friends online. Just have them hit you until you are down and then shoot them.

Remember that team damage does not count until looting starts.

Bridge has 4 mil in the train. Go a round to get better weapons. Then it’s a quick 3 minute snatch and grab total betrayal murder fest x2. Easier said then done for sure.
