Spider-Man Shattered Dimension – Challenge Guide

Storyline challenge. You get this when you get the to the giant doors and there is a cutscene with Kraven.

RT web swing around the large open area. Make sure to hold RT for a bit to get back into a high arc before letting go and Swinging again.

At the first ground of enemies the Hint System will tell you to hold LT to dodge basic attacks. Just keep LT down until you unlock the challenge.

Hunters are the enemy of this level so 10 is easy.

You’ll come to an area with 5 snipers on the top of pillars. RT to automatically Zip Kick them. This only counts for the snipers on the pillars. Very easy.

You would seriously have to go out of your way to not defeat 30 enemies in the first level.

After the sniper area you will come to an area where they tell you about Web Strike. There are also a lot of jars in this area. Use B to grab a jar and then B again to throw it at a Hunter.

Web Strike is where you jump into the air and then hit B mid air to fling yourself at an enemy. You will do this many many many more times then 10 in the first leve.

The Courtyard is where you learn the Web Strike Evade. The timer will start in the upper right. There are 5 enemies in front of you and 2 snipers to the left. After that a couple waves of enemies come out the far end. Finish everyone in under 4:00 to get the challenge completed.

There are 60 emblems in the first level. You will want to get them all not only for the experience but also for the achievements.

The next section has Kraven firing a sniper rifle at you. Make sure to move when the red center circle fills. You also have to stand in front of the trees and dodge as he fires to get him to knock over the trees. 10 is a very low number to dodge. It takes close to 10 just to knock down all the trees.

You will face your first Goliath in the cage. When it gets low on heath a B will appears over it’s head. Simply go up and use B to finish the Goliath and get the challenge. Be careful if you are playing on Easy as you can kill the Goliath without the B finisher. There are two more at the end of the level if you miss this first one.

After you take out the Goliath you have your first battle with Kraven.

He will start with his charge attack. Wait for him attack and dodge / jump over him and attack him from behind until you starts to block.
Next he will start to charge up. This is the sign that spikes will be coming from the floor. RT to one of the side pillars and then RT to the one Kraven is on to drop him back to the floor. If you upgraded Web Strike with Punch make sure to add the punch for more damage.
Then you will have to fight him up close. I like Left Stick Right for a punch to the kidneys followed up by a Right Stick Up for a punch to the face to be a good combo.
Once he is low you will get a B finishers on Kraven and get the challenge.

1 – In the wide open area after you learn to dodge there is a small room on the bottom far right. It has a Silver Emblem on a small pillar in the middle of the entrance and a tree growing inside the room. The Hidden Spider is on the wall to the left as you enter.
2 – When you get the the sniper Zip Kick section you will zip kick 2 snipers and then there will be a open area to the left with 2 more sniper. Way high above that and just to the right is a open area on top of the mountain. Swing up there and the Hidden Spider is on the ground.
3 – In the Courtyard at ground level on the right in a small stone alcove.
4 – In the area with the mines its on the wall above and behind you as you climb the first area.
5 – After the cage fight its to the left of the next area’s entrance.
6 – Right after 4 head inside and it’s on the left wall.
7 – In the large room with all the buttons it’s in a small alcove one level up to the left of a ledge with 2 snipers.
8 – Higher up on a large curved rock area with some enemies its on the back left on a stone wall.

Lots of Pillars are going to be destroyed in this battle. Simply RT up on a pillar and Kraven will jump attack you. Jump off as he attacks and then Web Strike Punch him to the ground. Repeat 9 more times.

Very similar to the last fight.

Start by dodging his charge run at you and strike him until he blocks.
When he’s running on top of the pillars you have a quick second to strike with a Web Strike when his back is turned. Otherwise just dodge his weapon throws.
The Hint System will tell you to grab his weapons as use them against him. This is ONLY when they stick in the ground. When they do, grab with B and throw them back at Kraven then go in for some bonus damage with a B grab attack.
Once he’s down he’ll climb to the center platform and then Web Strike him to end the level.

Noir is ALL about the Stealth. The challenges for Hammerhead are based mainly around stealth takedowns. You need to take down 5 from perches up high….

…Do it 5 times in a row without being seen and you get 2 challenges at once….

…Then you need 3 takedowns while you are crawling against a wall….

…Followed by 3 while you are just standing on the ground with them from a distance…

…followed by the hardest of the 3. Doing takedown right by them. They are pretty obvious to their backsides so just make sure you are squarely behind them and hit the B when it’s on the screen and you are close.

Perch, Crawling, Ground, and Closeup are the 4.

Be stealthy.

Continue the stealhyness.

You have to do this to continue.

It take a lot of Gattling fire to get a column done. Just keep stepping into the light and then back behind a column until it gets destroyed. Then on the next.

You need to circle around at the FAR back of the screen so he can’t see you. Then come in directly behind him and you’ll be prompted for a B takedown. Do this 3 times.

You must rescue these 5 to continue.

Very quick section with about 5 guys including 1 Goliath. Just keep up the pressure.

There are 30 in this level.

1 – In the very first area it is down and behind you up against the wall by the giant gate.
2 – At the gate to leave the first area turn around and it’s on some crates.
3 – It’s on the left side of the car in the third civilian area.
4 – It’s on the back of the tanker train car in the third civilian area.
5 – It’s hard to the left on top of a building as you enter the second trainyard.
6 – It’s in a train car on the ground on the left side of the second trainyard.
7 – It’s in the far back middle against a crate.
8 – Is in a train car just south of#7 by the civilian drop off point.

You need to fling the cans at him. Once you hit him he will launch rockets at you. Stand behind the 3 machines and they will break and cloud up the area one at a time. Take to the top ring of the map and get completely behind him for a Takedown. Repeat 2 more times to destroy all 3 machines. Then you need to dodge a ram charge and do another takedown. This will spark a hand-to-hand where you beat his face and kick him when he tries to hit you. End of level.

During the first Freefall event you can Dash with A to catch up with Hobgoblin. Then as you are riding him down send him into beams and cars 5 times.

There are 2 Freefall events in this level. You can hit Hobgoblin 5 times per time you catch him. You should be able to get 15 in the first and then need just 10 more in the second harder freefall.

Thought it was hard but thanks to JustinS1985‘s tip this is actually super easy and can be done at the first fight. Simply use LT to lock onto Hobgoblin and then fling your webs at him with RB when he has a bomb in his hand.

Very easy. Just grab the bombs he is throwing at you back at him. Good time to get the beat a boss without taking damage achievement.

There are 2 Monorail sections where you are free swinging across a wide open area. Simply swing to the side and climb up one of the many antenna. You need to get to one of the top 3 towers at the top.

When you get the rocket launcher guys simply keep Public Eye Patrol officers between you and the missiles and they will hit the officer instead. You do not need to be in Accelerated Vision for this.

There are 40. There are several on the high antenna and they are certainly more out of the way in this level.

You’ll get a section where Hobgoblin is throwing his bombs at you while you are being attacked by the Public Eye. Dodge the officers and grab the bombs. Make sure to throw them away from Hobgoblin and into the Public Eye officers.

At the final stage Hobgoblin creates enemies to defeat you. The only problem with this is if you kill him too quick he won’t have time to make 20 so don’t hit him when his is down on the ground until you get 20.

Easy. There are well more then 30.

1 – When you get to the first area there is a small ledge area up to the upper right area.
2 – In the first indoor tunnel area its at the very end above the door.
3 – At the first rocket launcher guy its above and to the left over the cover.
4 – In the open tunnel area with all the billboards covering both sides it’s on front face of the far area.
5 – The next inside area its above the exit door in the circle again. You need to get it before clearing the room or you’ll automatically be moved past the room.
6 – The area with the large open circles in the rafters its in the base of the last one.
7 – The next hall area its near the roof of the exit.
8 – It’s in the center of the triangle area with the blue outline. Crawl up the side and drop onto the top part, then walk over and drop by the spider.

On the roof you will get attacked by a series of Public Eye that come out of a vehicle. 4 minutes is a LOT of time for this battle.

Turn it on right before you attack as Accelerated Vision wears down fast.

Right after you get attacked by the Public Eye the first time you go inside to a hall. Simply grab the benches here and swing them into the Public Eye officers.

The second Monorail section has Jet Bikes. Use your X to swing into them and take them out.

1 – After the first area as you head into the first tunnel head hard right into a small room and it’s on the wall.
2 – The first area that you save the civilians jump up high to the left of the final ledge. There is another small room with a spider.
3 – On the top of the dam head to the far right of the door and it’s on a truck.
4 – On the ground behind a truck on the next open area right after crossing all the power lines.
5 – In the tunnel with the broken ground just drop down and its there.
6 – On the ground level of the large open area where you have to clear everyone in 4 minutes its back around the back.
7 – On the top level of the large area its on the back right behind the power station.
8 – In the area where you save the 5 civilians its on the wall high up below the giant 2.
